‘Another really good week for me’
Joost Luiten has said it has been another really good week for him as he finished in a tie for second place at the Shenzhen International in China.
The Dutchman finished two-shots off eventual winner Soomin Lee in a tie with South African Brandon Stone on 14 under par.
After collecting a further 214,000 Race to Dubai points, Luiten has now moved above Charl Schwartzel into eighth place in the standings.
Luiten told the European Tour.com: “It’s been another really good week for me. I played some consistent golf.
“I was good on the greens. If I look back, the third round, when I shot level par, I didn’t score enough, and that’s maybe that little bit that I needed but it’s been a good week.
“Those delays, you’ve just got to deal with them. Everybody’s got to deal with them. You just need to be ready when you need to play and I’ve done that well this week.
“I stayed patient and I tried to be as ready as I could when I was out on the golf course. That’s all you can do, and that’s all you can focus on.”
