Shane Lowry said he was blown away in his first Masters last year but this time, he has his game face on around Augusta National.
Lowry currently sits 32nd in the world and 114th in the FedEx cup. The Irishman’s best finish this season, and only top 10 was tied for sixth at the Waste management Phoenix Open, and he has only failed to beat the cut once.

Lowry gives an inside to what he learnt at Augusta last time out, he said: “ I had a good crew with me last year, and I enjoyed it, but I need to be more ruthless.
“Most weeks I stay in a hotel and I’m back in the room at half-eight each night and have time to think and time for myself. At the Masters, I took (rented) a house and there were just too many people around. And Augusta was just how I’d imagine, it’s like the first time you play in Croke Park and you stand there looking around and you’re not used to it. But I’ve learned.
“I’ll have my game face on this year.”
The 29-year-old also says he’s good enough to make Darren Clark’s Ryder Cup team, he said: “I’ll find it hard to sit back and watch it if it doesn’t happen because I feel I’m good enough to be there.
But it’s not my main goal for the season and with the schedule I’m playing, I’ve put myself up against Rory (McIlroy) and Sergio (Garcia) and Justin Rose and it’s going to be hard to make the team.”
Shane Lowry is paired with J.B Holmes and Angel Cabrera over the first two rounds
