The most anticipated group of the whole week was the Saturday paring of Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth but that group failed to deliver, according to Reuters.
It failed to deliver because both players struggled to put a decent scorecard together due to the harsh weather conditions of Augusta National.

Spieth carded a two-over 74 and McIlroy played his way out of yet and another Masters championship as he failed to birdie a hole on his way to a five over 77.
McIlroy told Sky’s Tim Barter in an interview after his round: “It was just one of those days.
“You have to try to forget about it and move on, but I’d be feeling a lot worse if I hadn’t just seen what Jordan did on the last two holes. I can take a bit of heart from that, knowing I’m still in this golf tournament.
“Standing on the 17th tee I didn’t feel I was, I was eight back. But it just shows how quickly things can happen on this golf course, especially in these conditions. The greens are firm and crusty, and if you miss on the wrong side you’re making it very difficult for yourself.”
Although Jordan Spieth managed to birdie five holes, he also carded two bogeys and two double bogeys.

Spieth told Sky’s Tim Barter in an interview after the round: “I thought it was it was a couple of strokes higher than what I was looking for, I thought even par was a good score today.
“Especially playing 11 and 12, getting two pars there on two of the harder holes on the golf course and being a couple under early, I thought it was a couple higher than the goal.
“It’s a bit disappointing in that sense, running off but it’s pretty much a brand new tournament coming our way the last two rounds.”
It is the first time Spieth has shot a better score than Rory McIlroy whilst they have been playing in the same group.
