Now the Master’s is over, we will look to the next stop on the PGA Tour, which is the RBC Heritage Open at Harbour Town.
Jason Day will be looking to put his poor performance at Augusta National behind him by cementing his position as the world’s number one by winning this weekend even though world number two and three, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy won’t be participating.
Last year’s winner, Jim Furyk won’t be at this year’s event either as he is letting his surgically repaired wrist continue to heal. He’ll still hit one shot at Harbour Town, fulfilling his champion’s role Monday by striking the ceremonial opening drive into Calibogue Sound.

English trio Matthew Fitzpatrick, Paul Casey and Luke Donald will all be competing with Casey and Fitzpatrick looking to build on a positive show at Augusta, and Donald looking to try and get back inside the world’s top 50 (currently 95th) so he does not miss the next major as well.
Ian Poulter will also be looking to put in a good performance as, like Donald, he is trying to get back inside the world’s top 50 (currently 62nd) so he can make a late push for the automatic Ryder Cup spots.
Bryson DeChambeau will be playing in his first event as a professional golfer after finally leaving the amateur scene after winning the low amateur award at Augusta last week.
Other players playing this week are former Harbour Town champion Brandt Snedeker, Open champion Zach Johnson, Francesco Molinari, Ernie Els and Brandon Grace to only name a few.
