Bryson DeChambeau says he wants to get some momentum going and start holing a few putts to see if he can make a late surge to the top of the leaderboard.
The American told the PGA Tour.com: “It was a fun day out there but again I missed a couple of putts and there were a few momentum shifts on my eighth and ninth.
“If I would have made that six-footer on my eighth and pared my ninth then I could have scored a low number out there today.”
DeChambeau went on to talk about what it feels like to be a pro. He said: “Honestly, I’m trying to keep it the same as last week and the week before and It is for money but I’m out here just trying to win some championships.

“I think If I can start holing a few putts and start getting some momentum going my way early, get off to a good start, make birdie on two, hopefully, make birdie on one then that can push me forward and hopefully shoot a good score.”
When asked if his caddy was a scientist like him, he replied in saying: “Yes he’s definitely learning and getting there. He’s done a great job so far and I love having him on the bag, he keeps me calm and collected and makes me understand what’s important.”
