Russell Knox said he was happy with the way he played last weekend and is thinking more long term than dwelling on what could have been.
Knox shot a four under 67 on his way to finishing tied second, two shots behind winner Brandon Grace.
It was a solid front nine from the Scotsman as he managed to birdie the first, the fifth, sixth and ninth hole to leave him at seven under par with a good chance to get to double figures for the week.
But unfortunately for Knox, he could only birdie the 16th and bogey the 12th to finish in a tie with Englishman Luke Donald.

Knox told Sky Sports: “Today I was thrilled, I played great all day and hit some nice putts at the end there.
“I was happy with the way I conducted myself and the shots over the last few holes.
“I played beautifully on the first day, but I just made a mess of the first couple of holes which turned a good round into a terrible feeling.
“Of course winning again and the Ryder Cup are goals of mine now, but I’m just trying to enjoying it. I’m so fortunate to be playing in these great tournaments, so I’ve just go to soak it all in and go for it.”
