Alexander Levy is tied out in front on six under par alongside
Levy carded a bogey free first round of 66 to start the tournament. The Frenchman got off to the perfect start by birdieing the first hole. That was it for the front nine as he could shoot eight consecutive pars.
Things lit up again on the back for the world number 110 as he birdied the 10th hole. He then birdied the par five 13th and he eagled the par five 17th hole which got him to five under for his round. Levy made it to six under par when he carded a birdie on the last.

Soomin Lee is currently tied at the top with Levy after also carding a bogey-free 66. The South Korean also started the day with a birdie at the first. Unlike Levy, Lee birdie birdied the fourth and ninth hole to get to three under for the day.
The world number 128 carded back-to-back birdies at the 13th and 14th, and with a birdie on 17 got him to six under.

The highest-ranked player in the field this week, Bubba Watson, had a fairly quiet day for his standards as he carded birdies on nine and 17, but after a bogey on the sixth, leaves on one under, five of the pace.
