World number three Jordan Spieth missed the cut for the first time in 259 days at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Arizona, Golf.com report.
Needing to birdie the last to have a chance of making the cut, the three-time major winner, missed a long putt for the chance to finish on level par overall.

Fellow Americans Rickie Fowler and Bryson DeChambeau had no such problems, with the pair both carding a second round of 66 to co-lead on 10 under at the halfway stage.
Spieth, 24, was heckled twice by fans during his two rounds, and refused to talk to the media after his disappointing first round of 72.
The second shout from the crowd came at the most important time, on the 18th green with Spieth needing to hole the putt in order to give himself a chance of making the weekend stage.
Spieth’s playing partner, and good friend Justin Thomas, criticised the crowds heckling.
That girl just yelled right in Jordan’s downswing, there’s just no place for that.
