Lydia Ko’s off-season changes are starting to show results already in the LPGA.
Tenth in the overall standings, Ko currently sits tied for third and three shots off the lead at the Australian Open in Adelaide.

After a 2017 season that some may have considered frustrating, Ko is looking to capture her first LPGA tour win since 2016.
At just 20-years-old, Ko is competing in her eighth Australian Open – an astonishing number that highlights how good the South Korean-born Ko was as a youngster.
With 19 professional wins under her belt already, the two-time major winner has seen fit to amend her shutout 2017 season with a few changes.

Among these alterations, Ko has changed her swing and her caddie.
Speaking after her first round in Adelaide, she said:
I know that when I’m out on the golf course I’ve just got to be as positive as I can and just have a lot of fun,
I think this off season was the most excited I was actually to train and prepare for the season coming up, which is always a nice feeling where you’re excited to practice and get ready and also be excited to play my first event.
