Golfer Justin Thomas has hit out at the spectators after they produced some “unacceptable behaviour” during the Genesis Open, according to a report on Golf Magic.
The American finished in ninth place in the tournament but had plenty to say about the spectators who came to watch him and the other golfers play.

Thomas said:
It got a little out of hand. I wish people didn’t think it was so amusing to yell and all that stuff while we’re trying to hit shots and play.
I guess they just think it’s funny. It might be funny to them. But when people are now starting to time it wrong and get in people’s swings is just completely unacceptable really.
Bubba Watson went on to win the tournament and Thomas was not the only player at the tournament who complained about the fans.
Irishman Rory McIlroy was also subject to plenty of remarks from the fans behind him, who were constantly shouting and screaming to put him off before taking shots.
McIlroy tried his best to block their comments out from his mind but he claimed that he had a “headache” after all the noise made.
The Irish golfer also noticed the same treatment being given to Tiger Woods, who failed to make the cut for the tournament.
Professional golfers have found that spectators shouting before shots are becoming an increasing problem and want something to be done about it.
