2028 Ryder Cup to be hosted at Hazeltine

The 2028 Ryder Cup will be hosted at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.

The course hosted the 2016 edition of golf’s most famous team tournament, where Davis Love III’s team won by a convincing 17-11 margin.

It was the first time the course had hosted the Ryder Cup, and it clearly made enough of an impression to warrant a return of the best golfers Europe and the USA have to offer.

The club has previously hosted the PGA Championship twice before ( in 2009 and 2002), and the US Open twice (1970 and 1991).

Prior to the event, Ryder Cups will be played at Le Golf National in Paris, Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome, Bethpage State Park in New York, and an undisclosed European venue before what will be the 47th rendition of the tournament.

This year’s Ryder Cup in France will begin on September 28, as captains Jim Furyk and Thomas Bjorn go toe-to-toe for golf’s greatest prize.
