Bubba Watson eyes Masters win after Match Play victory

Bubba Watson is in confident mood ahead of the Masters after winning the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play final against Kevin Kisner, according to a report on the Express.

The American is going into the tournament in a good run of form and will be hoping to continue that into the Masters Championships, which is shaping up to be a memorable tournament this year.

Watson was forced to delay his family vacation by one day due to his final as he looks for some family time before the preparation for the Masters begins.

Watson has been victorious at Augusta on two previous occasions, once in 2012 and the other in 2014. He is hoping to wear the famous green jacket for the third time in his successful career this year but knows he will face some tough competition.

Watson said:

We’ve leaving the country for a few days with the family as my son has a spring break.

But then I can’t stay out of the country too long as I have to get dressed-up and be ready to return to Augusta.

With Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy also hitting form in recent weeks, it is expected to be one of the most competitive Masters Championship.
