Tiger Woods is set to make his first appearance in the US Open since his 16-over-par finish in 2015, according to the Daily Express.
The 42-year-old comes into this major tournament after a healthy performance at the Masters, finishing one-over-par.
The location of this years US Open, Shinniecock Hills, is coincidentally the same place Woods made his US Open debut back in 1995.
The American has won the tournament three times previously, and will be seeking to make it four in June.
Despite being a prolific champion, Tiger still had to file for entry.
The 14-time major winner has recently experienced something of a career renaissance, after being kept off the course with a back injury for a significant amount of time.
A favourite to win in Augusta, Woods will surely also be tipped highly for success at the US Open.
