Sweden’s Alexander Bjork claimed his maiden European Tour title at the Volvo China Open after a superb bogey-free final round, Sky Sports report.
The 27-year-old began the day a shot behind Spaniard Adrian Otaegui and England’s Matt Wallace, however, Bjork’s round of 64, which included seven birdies meant he finished one clear of Otaegui on 18 under.

A thrilling final round saw Bjork roll in a 10-foot putt at the 17th and converted a par at the last to set the clubhouse lead.
Otaegui chose the worst time possible to three-putt on the penultimate hole, and Wallace couldn’t force a play-off with an eagle on the last.
Wallace, who was chasing a second win of the season, ended in a tied for third along with fellow Brit Jordan Smith.
Smith’s impressive final round saw him fire in eight birdies to card the joint-lowest round of the week at the Topwin Golf and Country Club, however, it will be remembered as Bjork’s day in China.
