Englishman Justin Rose cruised to his ninth PGA Tour victory with a three-shot victory at the Fort Worth Invitational, according to a report on the Herald Scotland.
The 37-year-old was in good form throughout the tournament and carded a six-under-par closing round of 64 to finish with a 20-under total, which was enough to secure the win.

The win means that Rose will rise in the world rankings into third place and will get the chance to become the world number one at next week’s Memorial Tournament.
Following the victory, Rose said:
I’m delighted the way I played this week. The way I hit the ball this week, I’m a little speechless.
This is something for me to build on. This week was a big step in the right direction.
Rose is pleased with his form, especially with the US Open coming up. The Englishman is looking forward to that tournament and believes that he needs to keep himself in shape for it.
There’s still more work to be done. It’s going to be about conserving that energy into the US Open.
