World number two Dustin Johnson carded a superb seven under par second-round 63 to take a one shot lead at the halfway stage of the St Jude Classic in Memphis, Sky Sports report.
The American, who will reclaim the world number one raking with a win in Memphis, holed out from 110 yards for an eagle and also hit seven birdies as he moved to 10 under.

Johnson did bogey consecutive holes at the 12th and 13th, but recovered to take a lead into the weekend’s play.
Johnson’s closet challengers are fellow American’s Ryan Blaum and Andrew Putnam, who both carded six under par second-rounds of 64.
Current US Open champion Brooks Koepka could only manage a second-round of 69 to fall five shots behind, as he looks to gather some pace heading into next week’s major.
Phil Mickelson, who needs to win next week at the US Open to become the sixth man to have claimed all four majors, managed to birdie two of the final three holes to get to four under, six behind Johnson.
