Tiger Woods back in PGA Tour action at Quicken Loans National
Tiger Woods is back in PGA Tour action this week at the Quicken Loans National, a tournament that he has not participated in since 2015, according to a report on the Golf Week.
After he missed the cut at the US Open, Woods will be looking to get back on track with a good performance.
This is set to be Woods’ 11th tournament of the year and his long wait for a win goes on. However, Woods is grateful to be back on the course playing golf a year on from his really bad back injury which meant that he could barely walk.
Woods’ form has been inconsistent so far this year. He missed the cut at the Genesis Open and then finished in tied second place at the Valspar Championship.
He has struggled with his putting, which was evident as he began the Open with a disastrous triple-bogey seven on the first hole. Kyle Stanley is the defending champion of the Quicken Loans National and Woods will be looking to challenge him.
