Tiger Woods orders 15 new putters to solve continuous problems

Tiger Woods has ordered 15 TaylorMade putters in an attempt to help him increase his chances of winning a tournament, according to a report on the Express.

Woods has been having continuous putting problems since he returned to the course and has himself identified the problem on numerous occasions.

He seemed to be getting back to form when he finished in second place at the Valspar Championship, but again his putting inconsistency let him down in future events.

With The Open Championship at Carnoustie approaching, Woods is eager to sort his problem out as quick as possible.

He is in action this week at the Quicken Loans National after failing to make the cut at the US Open.

When speaking about his decision to order 15 new putters, Woods said:

I’m trying something out. The way I’ve been putting, I wanted to look for a change. That’s all it is. The ball rolls good with the putter I was using today, so you never know.

It’s at my discretion if I use this putter but if I find something that helps me play better, so be it. It has a little more swing than my normal putter does, and it feels good.

Whether the change pays off or not for Woods remains to be seen in the next couple of weeks.
