Tiger Woods is feeling positive after his tied 4th place finish at the Quicken Loans National and is hoping to take this form into The British Open at Carnoustie, according to a report on the Golfweek.
Woods has been impressed with his putting, which was an area that was causing him some concern ever since he returned to the golf course.

The American ordered 15 new putters ahead of the National and it seems to have helped him massively, with his actual shots and his confidence too.
When speaking about his performance, Woods said:
Finally, I’m starting to hit some putts. I’m starting to make those putts you’re supposed to make from 10, 15 feet, but I’m also making some from outside 20. I haven’t done that for the better part of two months.
The 42-year-old has not won a major tournament for ten years but feels that he is getting closer and closer after he secured his second best finish of the season at the National.
Woods is hoping to break into the top 70 players in the world rankings which means that he will need to win the British Open or get very close to winning it.
Although he has not yet won an event since his return, the signs are promising for Woods, who is pleased with the form he has heading into The Open.
