Tommy Fleetwood produced a flawless second round at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational to join fellow Englishman Ian Poulter and American Justin Thomas in the lead at the halfway stage, Sky Sports report.
Fleetwood, who has been in remarkable form of late, made seven birdies in a bogey-free round of 63 to move to 11 under with Poulter and Thomas.
Poulter carded a solid second round 67 himself, while world number three Thomas carded a round of 64, meaning the three are two strokes clear of their nearest rivals American Kyle Stanley and Australian Jason Day at Firestone.

Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy, who won the tournament back in 2014, is just three shots back after making back-to-back birdies at the 17th and 18th to take him to eight under.
It was a frustrating day for 14-time major champion Tiger Woods however, who could only card a second round 69, leaving him five shots back on six under and plenty of work to do if he is to win the competition for a ninth time.
