Tiger Woods has promised that he will do his absolute best to bounce back from his disappointing week at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Woods entered the tournament with confidence and was hoping to claim his ninth win at the Firestone Country Club but things quickly turned sour for the American.

Woods produced a pair of 73s over the weekend which had him on level par for the week. Woods made three bogeys and two double-bogeys which halted what was a bright start and after that, there was no real chance of him challenging for victory.
Woods will be playing in next week’s PGA Championship at Bellerive and he has promised to play better golf.
When speaking about his disappointing week, Woods said:
Things could have certainly gone better, but it is what it is and on to next week. I was just trying to be as aggressive as possible and fire at everything, and it was either going to be 62 or 63 or something in the mid-70s.
I was just going to be aggressive and see what happens. I was so far back that I had to play a great round just to get in the top 10. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t.
I didn’t hit the ball as cleanly as I wanted to and I only putted well the first day. I struggled hitting the putts hard enough this week. But I need to clean things up come Thursday and I’ve got three more days to work on it.
The 42-year-old has had putting problems ever since he returned to the golf course and he just can’t seem to shake off the problem.
