Ryder Cup vice captain Tiger Woods has heaped praise on the security arrangements put in place ahead of the historic tournament getting underway in France next month, the Daily Express report.
Le Golf National, which is set to host the prestigious competition, will see an increase on the level of security, being described as the ‘ring of steel’.
The 14-time major champion, who has been in fine form this season, has individual hopes of competing at the event for the USA, but the 42-year-old will definitely be there in some capacity as one of Jim Furyk’s vice captains.

Talking to the media in the week, Woods was asked if he was concerned over the level of security in Paris.
I have travelled all over the world playing golf, so I’ve experienced different security scenarios where ever I’ve been.
I am sure the Ryder Cup will be fine and the organisers will have covered ever security issue.
I can envisage there will be so many extra measures and screening of the fans and whatever but I have no concern and it will be fine.
We saw the security in place for the London Olympics some years back and you could argue London is in a similar state of alert as France but I have all confidence in the organisers.
Woods, who made his pro debut back in 1996, is currently competing in the Northern Trust, looking to put in another solid performance which will give the American a great chance of competing at the tournament for an eighth time.
