Tiger Woods happy to continue playing without a swing coach

Tiger Woods has admitted that he is not looking to hire a swing coach because he is currently happy with his performances, according to a report on GolfMagic.

Woods has made an impressive return to the PGA Tour this year after being out of action for a lengthy spell due to several back problems.

The American has had multiple surgeries on his back and just one year ago, he was about to retire from the sport as he could barely walk.

But, he has made a remarkable recovery and he is now playing some of his best golf.

One of the areas of his game that is still slightly inconsistent is his putting, which has come under heavy scrutiny over the past year. But, Woods insists he does not need a swing coach. He said:

I am happy. I don’t have a coach at the moment. I’m looking at a lot of replay and video or just analysing what I do.

I’m going about doing this on my own this entire year, and basically since my back was fused.

Woods finished in tied 40th position in The Northern Trust tournament, 14 strokes away from the winner Bryson DeChambeau.

But, the 14-time major winner has come close in previous events to a victory and he is confident that he can win at least one title before the end of the year.
