Former world number one Tiger Woods has spoken out over his back problem and has recalled the first moments with a golf club after undergoing spinal fusion surgery, ESPN report.
Woods is currently taking part in the Dell Technologies Championship and produced a superb five under round of 66 on Saturday to leave him on four under for the tournament and seven shots off leader Webb Simpson.

The bogey free round on Saturday was the second round out of three where Woods has played 18 holes without a blemish on his card, something he hadn’t managed to do prior to his back injury 12 months ago.
After his round in Boston, Woods was reminded over a tweet he posted last year, where the 14-time major champion was chipping for the first time since his surgery.
When asked how that felt, Woods said:
I’ve gone back to that and just been so thankful that I had the opportunity to start chipping again, start progressing.
And never would have dreamt that I’d be in this position. Just so thankful that everything turned out the way it did.
The 42-year-old is hopeful of playing at this year’s Ryder Cup, with captain Jim Furyk scheduled to announce his wild cards on Tuesday.
