Jing Yan Leads Lottie Woad And Cassie Porter Into Meijer LPGA Classic Final Round

Jing Yan will take a one-shot lead over Lottie Woad into the final round of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give at Blythefield Country Club, with Cassie Porter two strokes back in third.

The LPGA leaderboard, updated early on Sunday, has Yan on 14 under after three rounds in Belmont, Michigan, with Woad at 13 under and Porter at 12 under. In Gee Chun, Wei-Ling Hsu and Yan Liu sit tied fourth on 10 under, leaving the final group with a narrow but meaningful cushion.

Yan’s position is especially significant because she is chasing a first LPGA Tour victory. The 36-hole leader became the 54-hole leader on moving day, holding off two close challengers who both have enough scoring form to make Sunday uncomfortable.

Final Round Pressure Builds At Blythefield

Woad’s one-shot deficit keeps the English player firmly in the title picture, while Porter remains close enough to turn the final round into a three-player fight if she starts quickly.

The official LPGA leaderboard lists Yan and Woad together at 11:05am local time, with Porter alongside them at the same mark. That pairing gives the final round a clean headline: Yan has the lead, but no room to drift.

For ReadGolf readers, the intrigue is simple. Yan has protected the lead for 24 hours, Woad is close enough to apply immediate pressure, and Porter’s chase gives the Meijer LPGA Classic a sharp Sunday edge.
