Steven Fisk Beats Taylor Pendrith In Playoff To Win ISCO Championship

Steven Fisk claimed his second PGA Tour title after outlasting Taylor Pendrith on the third extra hole of a sudden-death playoff at the ISCO Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

According to Golf Channel and the Associated Press, Fisk closed with a 3-under 67 at Hurstbourne Country Club to match Pendrith’s closing 65 at 16-under 264 in regulation, forcing extra holes after both players made par on the 489-yard 18th for a third time following a late pin change. The win arrives nine months after Fisk’s maiden PGA Tour title at last October’s Sanderson Farms Championship, in a week when most of the tour’s leading names were across the Atlantic at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Lucas Glover’s 54-Hole Lead Slips Away As Koivun Impresses

Lucas Glover, the only major champion in the field and the 54-hole leader, fell away with a final-round 71 to tie fifth at 14-under alongside Davis Chatfield and Kristoffer Ventura. Ben Silverman and Aaron Wise shared third, a shot outside the playoff at 15-under, after closing rounds of 66 and 69 respectively.

Fisk’s $720,000 winner’s share came from a $4 million purse, with Pendrith banking $436,000 as runner-up. The victory also books Fisk’s place in the 2027 PGA Championship, though not next year’s Masters. Former Auburn star Jackson Koivun closed with a 67 to tie 10th at 12-under, another solid week in an eye-catching rookie season on tour. “Kind of feel like all the work I’ve been putting in paid off,” Fisk said afterwards. “It’s been a frustrating year trying to back up that first win… it was unbelievable to get it done again.”
