Sergio Garcia throws driver into the bushes during Texas Open

Last years Masters champion Sergio Garcia has now missed back-to-back cuts for the first time in 15 years, and threw his driver into the bushes during the second round of the Valero Texas Open, Sky Sports report.

The Spaniard let his frustrations get the better of him on the fifth after finding the woods with his tee shot.

Garcia hurled his club into the bush to the left of the tee box as he made another early exit from a tournament.

Ranked world number 10, Garcia proceeded into retrieving his club and took another wild hack at the bush on his way to a level-par 72 and a second successive missed cut.

The 38-year-old  famously fired five balls into the water on the same hole at Augusta two weeks ago as he went down in history for the wrong reasons.

Garcia put in the worst performance for a defending Masters champion since the tournament began. A bad April for the Spaniard.
