According to Justin Rose, Tiger Woods may well compete in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open at Gullane in July, the East Lothian Courier report.
Woods, who has recovered from a long-term back injury, has been in fine form over recent months, managing to finish in the top 10 on three occasions since his return.

Rose, who is in the same management company as Woods, suggested that the 14-time major winner could schedule in an appearance to compete in Scotland.
The American hasn’t competed in a Scottish Open since he was an amateur at Carnoustie back in 1996.
I think Tiger is definitely more open to changes in his schedule now than he has ever been before. I think now he’s trying to find his way back to being his best, and I think he does need to explore other options.
When asked if Woods could compete, Rose didn’t rule out the idea.
It wouldn’t surprise me – I wouldn’t bet on it but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Rose has already been confirmed to compete in July at the Scottish Open, however, a rare appearance in Scotland from Woods would certainly draw in the crowds.
