Tom Kim closed with a bogey-free 64 to win the Genesis Scottish Open by two shots from Min Woo Lee, claiming his first PGA Tour title since 2023.
According to CBS Sports, Kim carded a near-flawless final round at The Renaissance Club, getting up and down from just off the 18th green to seal the title at 17 under par after fog twice suspended Saturday’s third round and pushed the finish into a marathon Sunday.
Min Woo Lee’s Late Push Comes Up Two Shots Short
Lee could not find the hole-out he needed on the closing holes to force a playoff and finished alone in second at 15 under. Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre shared third, four shots back, in a week that also saw Scottie Scheffler miss the cut on Friday.
Per Yahoo Sports, Kim’s win is worth $1.575 million from the event’s $9 million purse, shared between the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. It is his fourth PGA Tour title and, at 24, makes him the fifth international-born player to win four times on tour before turning 25, joining Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama.
Kim now heads to Royal Birkdale for the Open Championship, which begins Thursday, on the best form of his season.
